Almost Heaven Custom Fly Rods is a small custom fly rod company
owned by Andrew Nix in Morgantown, WV. I specialize in building truly custom fly rods for the avid fly rod angler. While my primary focus is on small stream rods, fine rods of all sizes and weights are available to order. I do not keep a "stock" of rods, each rod is built individually to the specifications of the buyer - blank, hardware, wrap style and color, grip shape and reel seat wood insert. I turn my own grips and wood inserts to add an extra bit of customization to your rod. Price varies according to blank and components, but generally a custom rod is $50-100 less than a commercial rod using the same blank.
